This book is supposed to be a true story. In some ways I liked it because it showed the life of some teenagers and how they feel. However I would not pick it to read if I had a choice as I could find something else that interests me.

I found this book sort of interesting but some of it was really hard to understand with complicated words and I didn't find it easy to follow the plot of the story either. Again if I had a choice I wouldn't read this book.
Scarecrow
I didn't have to read this book because there were not enough for everyone however from what I heard about it I don't think I would have enjoyed it. It sounded like it was a hard book to read and the plot didn't appeal to me either.
Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry
I really enjoyed reading this book in fact it is the book I have enjoyed the most out of all the books we have had to read so far. I found the storyline very interesting and it was good because it was about the life of a black family who lived in Mississippi where racism was very real. It gave an insight into what it might have been like. This book was also not hard to understand and it was easy to follow.
